PAYMENT
We accept payment by all major credit and debit cards.
The website itself does not take payment at the time of ordering. It is our policy not to charge for goods until stock is confirmed and the order can be processed. All invoices will be provided with the order as it is shipped. If incorrect payment details are supplied we may contact you to ascertain the proper details. We reserve the right to refuse acceptance of payment details if we think they are being used fraudulently.
DELIVERYWhere we Deliver
Delivery is to addresses in the United Kingdom and EEC countries only.
Orders are always shipped at the first opportunity. If an item is not in stock it may be necessary to order from our suppliers before we can dispatch, in which case delivery will be delayed. If we are unable to supply items due to them being out of stock, we will contact you. It is our policy not to charge until your order has been dispatched.
Delivery Charges
Standard service is FREE in the UK unless stated otherwise and usually takes 2-4 working days.
You can contact us if you require faster delivery (i.e. next day ) and a price will be quoted.
For deliveries outside the UK we will quote before shipping.
You only pay one delivery charge, irrespective of the number of products ordered.
How We Deliver
Most items are delivered by Royal Mail postal service, using recorded delivery.Some larger items
are dispatched using a courier depending on their size and value.
Delivery Times
We deliver on Monday to Fridays only, excluding bank holidays.
Standard courier deliveries are usually made between 9am and 5pm. Most deliveries must be signed for except some small low value items. If you are out when the Post / courier arrives, a card will be left with a contact number for you to call to arrange re-delivery or collection from the courier depot.
IMPORTANT:
This information is a guideline only.We do everything we can to meet these expectations, but
occasionally delivery times may be affected by factors beyond our control and cannot be
guaranteed. We will inform you if we become aware of an unexpected delay.
Please allow extra time for deliveries to Scottish islands.
Tracking Your Order.
You can track the progress of your order by logging onto the Cornwall Electronics website and accessing ‘My Account’.
RETURNS
All goods have one year manufacturers warranty unless otherwise clearly stated. All goods should be returned packed to the same standard as when received to avoid damage in transit.
If faulty goods are to be returned to us you must obtain an RMA (Returned Merchandise Authorisation) from our Customer Services department. The RMA will be valid for 28 days. We will arrange for collection of the Goods, which must be available for collection in their original packaging together with all accessories and manuals. We cannot accept unauthorised returns which do not have an RMA.If you change your mind we may take goods back at our discretion if they are unopened, unused and in perfect condition. There will be a handling charge of 10% of the purchase price (or £10 whichever is greater) plus a collection charge of £3.50 for this service. Please note we do not accept returns of special purchase items, consumables, opened software unless it is faulty or software licences.
MISSING, DAMAGED OR INCORRECT ORDERS
We do our very best to ensure you receive your items in pristine condition.
If any products are missing from your order, please check they have been despatched by using our tracking facility (simply log in and go to ‘My Account’).
